New Market Data Platform Developer’s Guide
As previously announced, early in the third quarter of this year, CME will implement the new Market Data Platform, which will
replace both the existing CME Market Data API and CME Market Data Network platforms with a single platform. This new platform
will require less bandwidth and provide improved scalability. Testing of the new platform will be available late in the second
quarter of 2005.
The Market Data Platform Developer's Guide and Message Specification are now available at www.cme.com/marketdata.
New FIX Message Specification – 2006
A meeting with selected Market Data Distributors to present details about our proposed FIX message specification is planned
for the week of May 9th in Chicago. A similar meeting was recently held in New York. The proposed FIX message specification will replace the existing
ITC 2.1 Ticker Specification in 2006.
